Blue Sky with Clouds

You've been invited to listen.

This is theatre and a controlled study in real time.

A subject informs her mother of her intent to end her life tonight.
The mother receives the information.

The maternal role remains constant: one actor.
The daughter role is a variable: two actors.

Three trials:

  • Trial 1 - 10/31 : Subject A (Daughter 1)

  • Trial 2 - 11/1 : Subject B (Daughter 2)

  • Trial 3- 11/2 : A live alternation between both subjects—mid-scene.

There are no emotional rehearsals.
Each trial begins with no prior exposure to real conditions.
What you observe is unfiltered reaction.

Each daughter is granted full autonomy at the conclusion.

There is no fixed outcome.
Endings may vary.
We do not know what will happen.

Your presence is not passive.
It is part of the experiment.

Can presence change outcome?

Can listening make a difference?
